An epic 5-part drama-documentary series chronicles 1000 years of history of the ancient Silk Road town of Dunhuang in the Gobi Desert. Some of the greatest characters of Chinese history feature: Ban Chao, Wu Zetian, JuQu Muxian and the monk, Xuanzang. Colm Whelan an I spent 2 months in the Gobi working with the most amazing crew to make this series which will reach millions on Tencent when it is released.
